Platon Medical are pleased to introduce Arcadia Medical Silicone Endotracheal Tubes to the UK, as the latest products of choice for Anaesthetists,  ITU & A&E units.

Based in the USA and with over 30 years experience in clinical R&D and Silicone Technology, Arcadia Medical continues to design and develop innovative products, providing advanced solutions in airway management and patient care.

In the Paediatric range, the Silicone Wire Reinforced Endotracheal Tubes are available in Cuffless or Air Cuff styles. Both tubes have a biocompatible, stainless steel wire reinforced silicone tube, with a standard 15mm connector permanently attached.

As a material, silicone is ideal to help protect sensitive airway tissue from irritation, and is more flexible and comfortable than rigid plastic or PVC, offering greater protection against irritation or injury.

Also, silicone is hydrophobic, naturally lubricious and less susceptible to encrustation as well as latex and plasticizer free, allowing for use with even the most sensitive of patients.

All products have the CE Mark in accordance with the EN ISO 13485:2003 and are produced in accordance with the FDA Quality System Requirements for medical devices.
